Hello, My name is Jessica. I am a student at Vancouver Island University. I am currently in 4th year and I am working on completing a degree in Elementary Education. I have a special interest in special education and one day I plan on taking my master's in teaching. This past summer I worked as a overnight summer camp counsellor. In grade 12 I had experience volunteering in a resource room. I have taken university courses in psychology, family studies and child development. I think I am a good candidate for this position as I have past experience working with children as a dance teacher. I believe in facilitating a positive playing environment, that nurtures growth and development in children. I am fluent in french and english and have a full valid drivers licence. I am willing to get a criminal record check and take a First Aid and CPR course.

I have worked as a dance teacher at the Brigadoon Dance Academy I have volunteer work with children with Special needs through a resource room and at the William Syndrome conference in Boston. I have work experience in the Children's department at Old Navy. I have babysitting experience.
