I’m currently a university student pursuing my education at VIU (Vancouver Island University). Being born and raised in the beautiful Okanagan region, I have always cherished the summer season there, creating countless cherished memories. However, now that summer has come to an end, I find myself back in Nanaimo, where I am gradually familiarizing myself with my new living space. In my leisure time, I find immense joy in engaging in various activities that cater to my diverse interests. Apart from my academic pursuits, I have a keen interest in crocheting intricate designs, which allows me to channel my creativity and create unique pieces. Reading is also an integral part of my life, as I find solace in exploring the depths of various literary worlds and expanding my knowledge. When it comes to the culinary realm, I consider myself a passionate cook, eagerly experimenting with different recipes and flavors to create delightful culinary experiences. Additionally, I lead an active lifestyle and frequently engage in a range of sports merely for the joy they bring me. It could be a friendly game of beach volleyball under the warm sun or even a refreshing swim in the ocean on lazy beach days. This amalgamation of interests truly completes and enriches my life, offering a well-rounded experience that combines relaxation, creativity, continuous learning, and physical activity.
I have been a babysitter since I was 12 years old, originally started with my younger cousins, then their friends. I have babysat for kids of all ages, in 2021 I took care of a little boy who was 8 months old at first- babysat quite regularly for 6 months. Then I was an aupair (or live in nanny) in england for 9 months for a family with a set of 10 year old twin girls. I’ve also coached elementary school basketball and volunteered for a week at a kids summer camp
