Hi, my name Deandra and I am a warm, caring and patient person. I have been teaching at the elementary school level for the past four years while tutoring and/or babysitting part-time. I enjoy spending my Summer working as a nanny. Some of my hobbies include exercise, cooking, dance and drawing. My top 3 attributes are communicator, open-minded and knowledgeable. I have worked in childcare for 10 years. The first family I worked for was when I was 18 years old (I am now 28). I worked for the family part-time while the father was working from home and needed some extra help with the children. The youngest was 6 months old and the second child was 3 years old. I was responsible for picking up the children from daycare and driving them to various activities. Once we would arrive at home, I was responsible for preparing dinner for the children as well as bath time. I enjoyed playing with the children outside, especially going to the park or pool. The second family I worked for had a nine month old baby who I worked with until he started daycare. I was responsible for his day to day activities such as napping, eating, playing and bathing. As well as preparing his meals and bottles, folding his laundry, cleaning up the dishes and tidying up his play areas. Finally, the last family I worked for, I was responsible for picking up the four year old and the two year old at daycare. I would pick up the children in the stroller and then either bring them to the park or home. Upon arriving at home we would play in the living room while I prepared dinner for them. Also, I was responsible for bath time and preparing the youngest for bed. I have only had such amazing experience when working in childcare and I look forward to meeting your family next.
