I am a 24-year-old energetic, active and outgoing individual from a quaint ski-town in Alberta, named Canmore. However, I relocated to Montreal in 2018 for university and fell in love with the city, causing me to settle here post-graduation. I am a fluent English speaker, also proficient in French, with hands-on experience in professional French-speaking environments. Being an outdoor enthusiast, I particularly enjoy cycling, hip-hop dancing, skiing and spending time in nature. I am into all things creative, dance, art, painting, and music. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from McGill University, specializing in intervention with youth age groups 3-18. My diverse experience spans roles as varied as a clinical interventionist in mental health crisis situations, a camp counsellor, a dance teacher, a tutor, to a behavioural support specialist. I feel most energized and myself in environments where I can be silly, fun, and playful with kid's youthful energy. I find children response well to my goofy encouraging yet calming energy! I am well-versed in managing the needs of youth aged between 3 all the way to 18 years and comfortable with dealing with behavioural management and conflict resolution. My skills also extend to communicating needs and focusing on developmentally appropriate play. Furthermore, I firmly believe in fostering engagement through outdoor activities, movement, and play. I am set to begin my Master's degree in Social Justice this September and am currently seeking a summertime employment opportunity where I can lend my support to a family, while promoting an environment filled with fun and positive communication!

I graduated with a degree in social work in 2022, and have experience almost exclusively with youth and family intervention. I have experience as a clinical social worker in paediatric psychiatry at the Montreal Children's Hospital, in youth protection services, and in community organization. I have been babysitting/childcare services casually for 12 years. I worked as a camp counsellor and then a behavioural support in a summer camp for 3 summers. I have experience teaching hiphop dance class for ages 5-12. Further, I volunteered as an elementary school homework tutor for 4 months.
