I am a 28-year-old female who recently moved to Montreal to learn French. I love children and prioritize creating an environment that encourages curiosity and play. I aim to bring a calm, grounding, yet adventurous and excited presence into your children's lives. My background is in forestry and fine arts, and I have worked with children since high school. I have taught after-school art programs in classrooms and cared for children with special needs and dietary restrictions in home-care settings. I am passionate about cooking healthy and delicious meals and can accommodate almost any dietary restriction. In my free time, I love to explore the outdoors, go on walks, play in the park, do yoga, dance, and swim. I also love working on creative projects, and have experience in many craft disciplines. For the past four years, I have worked as a self-employed artist, creating and selling my art around the Maritimes. This has been an exciting adventure, but now I am looking for a slower pace of life. I want to focus on learning French and exploring my curiosities in Montreal.

I have cared for children in households with up to 3 children at a time, prepared meals, maintained healthy, clean environments. I am strongly focused on nature based experiences, movement and play. I am very playful and engaged with children, and enjoy interacting with them. I understand that caring for a tiny human is a big undertaking, as your interactions help shape their world. I prioritize working with the parent to create an experience that is nurturing for their child and helps to foster the kind of environments they would like to raise their children in.
