Hello im Carlie-jean , I am happily single, I live alone in the east plateau in my apartment ive had for 4 years. I have been living abroad in Costa Rica with a family ive been nannying for 3 years in Montreal who decided to move here in September. I will be returning back to my apartment and life in Montreal in January where I will be attending part time school for Message Therapy with Ikira school. I am a seamstress by trade, I am a filmmaker, painter, musician. An artist. I absolutely love working/being a care taker for children, I also have experience working with children with special needs which requires a special kind of patience and understanding. I love cooking, I love teaching kids new things and exploring their interests together. I pride myself in being a kind of friend to them as well, I grew up only child so for me to be around children feels so special! My french is not so good, but i understand basic French and Spanish and i speak english fluently. My first experience working with children is when I was 12 years old; I started teaching figure skating as a mandatory part of being on the competitive figure skating team in Mission, B.C. where i grew up. I really enjoyed this experience and it continued on and off until I was 25 years old. After I graduated University for Fashion Design, I worked as a sewing instructor for children ages 8-18 years old. This was part time, the other time I worked as a nanny for 2 of the students; I was living in Vancouver. B.C at the time. I did this until 2020 when I moved to Montreal. During the pandemic I was unable to work but once the madness settled I worked with a family who has 3 boys under 10 years old. They recently moved to Costa Rica and ive been living and working with them for the past 4 months. I am returning back to Montreal on January 3rd and I will be starting Message Therapy School part time, I want to welcome in a new family to work with the other 4 days a week that I am available!
