I come from Ecuador and I am interested in teaching. I have tutored kids in the past since I was a Spanish instructor. I am kind hearted, respectful, responsible, punctual, a committed individual to her job willing to go the extra mile.
I have worked for a family for 8 years now. When I first met them, Hristina’s baby was 9 months old, and her other son was 1.5 year. My duties included bottle feeding, putting the kids down, reading books, meal prep for the kids and the parents. I also took the kids to outdoor and indoor playgrounds, took them to different places. I helped with errands, grocery shopping, light housework. As they were growing, I tutored the kids, potty trained them, play with them, we did crafts painted as well as other activities requested by the parents. I made sure they always feel loved and listened. Now they are almost 9 and 10 and my duties changed too. I have helped them with their homework, taught them Spanish, encouraged them to read and how to make decisions and express their feelings and how to overcome obstacles.
sometimes I had to drop them pick them up from school and summer camps. During my time with them I have learned plenty and I’ve become more , I’ve had to multitask, I’ve learned to cook different recipes, I’ve learned how to deal with tantrums, how to discipline with love and Hristina and her husband have seen me grow as a person and a nanny/babysitter/tutor. I am them and now I’m looking to help another family since they are moving out of Toronto.
Additionally, I also have experience I started working with the second family when their babies when they were less than a year old.
As an individual I’ve been told I’m highly helps me understand other people’s needs. Being an allowed me to take different approaches to understand how to how to get to them.
I’m available full time and I’d love to find a long-term position.
