My name is Valeria, I’m 21 years old. I come from a big family of 6 and have younger siblings so I’ve always grown up helping and learning kids! I’m from Ecuador and moved to Canada at age 3, I speak English, Spanish, and French. I’ve always loved working with kids as I find their company so enjoyable and I love to be a good mentor and educator to young children. I’m a big lover of the outdoors, crafts, and always come up with fun new games and activities

Over the years I have gotten the opportunity to work with different age groups. My first job was an occasional on call with 3 children aged 8 months to 6 years old, we would do crafts, go to the park, movie time, and I’d help with nighttime routine. Moving forward I had a job with a 3 year old with level 2 ASD, I’d come in daily and help her with learning activities and snack time. Then I had a job with a 4 year old, I assisted her with morning routine such as getting dressed, breakfast than doing online school and keeping her on track (during Covid). Moving on I worked with an 8 month old baby! I’d do bottle sanitizing, help with breakfast and lunch, and we would do nap time 2x during the day and I would help her with learning and motor skill activities, also assist her with walking. Finally I worked with a 3 year old daily full time, our day consisted of learning activities, nap, and lunch, also tons of outdoor activities. I’ve also had a few occasional jobs between these times

I graduated highschool and did 2 years of undergraduate in finance, but taking a year break off school.
