My name is Jaylynn, however I go by Jay. I have my HCA certificate and first aide level C, I recently graduated from college in 2017 from the health care aide course. I love caring for people, as it’s been a great part of my life as a job and something I just enjoy doing. I have two loving, funny dogs their names are Jacks and Konah, & recently just got married to my best friend. I’m not originally from Alberta, I’m from a small town in Ontario; where all my family lives still other then my parents and brother. I have grown up in Alberta and love it. I enjoy what Alberta has to offer as far as activities and sceneries. the mountains.. wow. In my health care aide career so far it’s taught me patience, creativity, problem solving and I’m always finding myself learning something new. I am very passionate about my job. In my past I used to babysit quite often and I’m looking to get back into taking care of children because it’s something I’ve really enjoyed. I’ve actually voulenteered in one of the daycares here in town, I loved it.

In my past I used to take care of my youngest sibling and would always get called to babysit for other friends and family. I would cook prepared meals; and make meals. I would bath the kids in the evening and prepare snack. I would help out where I was asked too (sweep floors, mop, put laundry away.. ect) anywhere I can help. I would always make sure there was enough time for a little bit of fun of course; instead of TV time I would think of ways to spend our time a little bit more creative such as dance parties were always welcome, reading books, toy time and of course fresh air.

I have my health care aide certificate as well as my level C and first aide.
