I am currently entering my second year as a Health Science student at the widely recognized Western University. Throughout my university experience, my passion for childcare has only grown. Having had extensive and diversified interactions with young children, I have come to understand and appreciate the responsibilities and delights of being part of a child's growth and development.
My compassionate and empathetic nature empowers me to establish strong relationships with children. It is a trait that has always driven my desire to work with children in a variety of settings, nurturing their curiosity while also ensuring their safety and well-being. Whether in a structured learning environment or in a playful setting, my patient yet authoritative approach has made the process of mentoring children a joyous experience for me.
One of the most targeted experiences I've had is teaching computer programming to school-age children. This was an incredibly enriching journey that exposed me to many aspects of mentoring young minds. It challenged me to find the right balance between guiding and empowering them to problem-solve, instilling in them a sense of accomplishment and pride in their own abilities. This experience, I believe, has equipped me with a special set of teaching and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of effective communication strategies that children respond to positively.
Individuals, who have witnessed me in action, frequently recognize my kind yet proactive style of teaching. It’s a style that promotes participation, clear communication, respect, and encourages learning to be a fun, fulfilling process.
Now, as summer is fast approaching, I am on the lookout for a position during the period of late April through late August. I'm eager to find a family that upholds flexibility as a key aspect of their home environment and are in need of a vibrant, reliable individual to help with their children's activities. Once again, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for considering me for such an impactful position. Thank you!
I worked teaching kids coding for 4 years and specifically running a jr program with kids 4-7.
