Cassidy C.
my name is Cassidy. I have been babysitting for three years and it's a job I genuinely enjoy. I am adept at providing a safe and engaging environment, particularly because many children struggle when their parents aren't around. Because of this, I believe it's essential to engage the children in fun activities that they enjoy, to demonstrate that being babysat by someone else can also be a fun experience. I strive to create an engaging atmosphere where we enjoy various fun activities such as baking, doing arts and crafts, going on walks, playing in the snow, and other activities the children might be interested in. Safety is my utmost priority, and I am firm in handling any behavioral issues. In my opinion, making mistakes is part of the learning process. Instead of getting upset, I prefer to talk children through their mistakes so that they can learn from them. I have an autistic brother whom I watch regularly. This has provided me with the experience necessary to handle special needs and meltdowns. So, if you have any concerns in that regard, you can rest assured that I have experience in navigating these situations without getting overwhelmed. I have a very flexible schedule and reliable transportation. I'm also comfortable doing light housework, cooking, bedtimes, and even taking night shifts given prior notice. If you think I would be a good match for your family or your schedule, feel free to contact me. Have a great rest of your day :)
I have been babysitting for many family friends since I was 14 and once I turned 16 I started babysitting for other families which I feel has given me great experience when working with various ages, family dynamics, and schedules.
