I am a friendly, energetic 23 year old with LOTS of experience with children. I come from a big family and have younger siblings who are currently 6 and 9 years old and have helped raise them. I am extremely comfortable with children of any age. and have also had experience volunteering for Langley Child Development Center. I believe in an active, healthy lifestyle and enjoy being outdoors as much as possible. I am currently a student getting my Bachelor's degree in English and I hope to work with children in the future. I am also currently working in the insurance industry, but would like to have a job where I get more satisfaction and feel like I am making a difference. I have a very warm and caring nature, and have always been told I have a good motherly instinct. I don't just want this to be a job, I want to become part of a family. I have some experience in nannying - last year I spent a few months in Arizona and nannied a 6 year old boy. My duties included picking him up from school, helping him with homework, doing fun outdoor activities, some cleaning and cooking if necessary.

My mom got remarried when I was 14 and had two more children, I have been helping out with them since I was 14 so I have a very good grasp on babies and children of any age. I have also nannied for a 6 year old boy and volunteered for several years at Langley Child Development. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I have taken first aid courses in the past, but they have expired. I am fully confident in myself to handle any emergency situation.

I am in my fourth year of my Bachelor's degree at the University of the Fraser Valley.
