My family is the most important part of my life. My parents have been together for 25 years. I have a beautiful 10 year-old sister, and 4 brothers, ranging from age 3 - 20. I started babysitting at 12 years old, and have experience with babies and children of all ages. Being a member of a large family has taught me patience. I am not one to get angry or upset. I am also attentive, and enjoy staying focused on the kids. I take pride in following rules and believe in open-communication and honesty. I enjoy crafting, walking, swimming and helping with homework. My personal hobbies include video gaming, music, website development, board games and watching hockey.

I have looked after my siblings since I was 12 years old. In that time, I have babysat for many additional families on a casual basis. I also have experience as a Junior and Senior camp counsellor. My duties included guiding a group of 10+ children in craft projects, as well as co-managing groups of kids with daily activities and bedtime. This past summer, my parents went on vacation for two weeks, and I took care of my siblings, aged 2, 7, 9 and 13. I was in charge of all meals, activities and transportation, etc.
