My family consisting of my parents, three older brothers and I, moved to the Lacombe area when I was 4.
I have always had a love for babies and children. My occasional preteen babysitting jobs moved to helping families at church who need an extra pair of hands while one parent is involved in services.
I am an avid reader who lives sharing the joys of books through reading stories and helping g learn to read. My hobbies of crocheting and knitting turn balls of yarn into baby sweaters, hats, blankets and dishcloths. Music has always been a big part of my life. I now play piano for church and also play percussion in the community band.
In providing nanny/childcare services my time management skills will be used to keep children on their schedules and to extra curricular activities on time. Patience and being a good listener are key skills I have. Children will also have assisstance developing skills towards milestone moments and learning.
I have a current police check and vulnerable sector check. First Aid/CPR certification will be obtained by the end of December 2018.
I lead out in the church nursery which is of ages 0-2 providing programming with stories and songs.
Other current childcare services involve pickng up a 4 year old from playschool, provide lunch for him, playtime, putting down for naps, and assist with toileting as needed.
