I am a mother of 3 adult children, who I raised as a single parent. We are very close, my family is everything to me. I also raised my 20 year old grandson from an infant. I have spent the past 3 years babysitting a very sweet now 4year old boy, who is starting school in September. As a retired woman who has been a caregiver since 21 years old, I know I will miss having a little one around to take care of. I enjoy walking, hiking/being outdoors, music, and I love cooking, reading & taking care of others.

I raised 3 children of my own as well as my 20 year old grandson, and have been babysitting a now 4 year old boy for the past 3 years. He is starting school full time in September, so unfortunately his parents no longer need me to watch him regularly. I will continue to watch him on PD days or other occasions as needed, but in general will have quite a bit of free time on my hands. From 1 year-4 years old I have taken care of this sweet boy from 8am-5pm, making 2 meals plus snacks each day. We go out walking daily. I take him to parks & water parks depending on the season. We go on outings to stores, etc as tolerated by him. When weather keeps us indoors we paint, colour, play with his toy cars & toss around a ball. I will truly miss having him around daily & am hoping to find another child to connect with & have the same amount of fun.
