Hello, my name is Amanda. I just moved to Kelowna to study Business full time at the Okanagan College. I am doing the one year Business Administration Certificate to begin with, and may continue to complete a diploma. I am studying business to open up more job opportunities for myself, and because I can see myself starting my own business one day. I grew up in a big family (I am the eighth of ten children), and have been living in northern BC (Chetwynd and Mackenzie) for the last 11 years. In the summers of 2014, 2015, and 2017 I was a cabin leader at a kids' camp, which I loved. I also like cooking, hiking, sewing and knitting, playing all sorts of games, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to hearing from you.

I have babysat different children between 6 months and 11 years old occasionally over the last 9 years, sometimes spending the night with them, making meals and cleaning up. For the summers of 2014, 2015, and 2017 I was a cabin leader at a kids' camp called Camp Sagitawa in Moberly Lake, BC. I stayed in cabins with children ages 6 to 14, got them ready for bed, taught them camp skills or classes, played games and activities with them, and taught Bible studies to them. As a child care giver I anticipate driving children to activities, preparing meals and snacks, doing house cleaning, playing with them, and helping them with school, etc..

I am currently taking the Business Administration Certificate at the Okanagan College in Kelowna.
