Ever since I was a child I had an extreme interest in babies/ kids and always wanted a sibling. My mother gave birth to my sister when I was 11 and it was one of the best things that ever happed to me. I helped out around the house when my mom was too tired to do so: whether that be feeding or bathing my sister, putting her down for naps, entertaining, taking her on walks, light housework etc. I am very dedicated to my schoolwork as I am aiming to become a paediatric surgeon but am looking for some part-time work to stay connected with the littles throughout my studies.

I took my babysitting course when I was 11 and started babysitting around my home town for family friends until I was around 13. I also helped raise my sister from newborn to now (7 years). Throughout grade 12, I volunteered at a local daycare as an assistant and kept the children entertained: reading books, and playing activities.
