I consider myself to be highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented. I take pleasure in completing my school work and simultaneously pursuing my passion for music as a pianist. Recently, I took the first part of my Grade 10 piano exam through the Royal Conservatory of Music. My love for music has unlocked numerous doors and provided opportunities to assist others and challenge myself. I have been teaching piano to my own students for four years. In addition, I volunteer at a hospital, where I play piano during church services on Sundays. Another passion of mine is figure skating. I have been involved in this sport for nine years and have recently become a regional level coach, certified through Skate Canada. This certification was a crucial step in my figure skating journey, as it equipped me with the skills to impart my knowledge and enthusiasm for skating to the younger skaters in our club. This winter, I've been coaching skaters of various ages, ranging from three to eleven years old. It's been immensely rewarding to witness the improvements taking place on the ice. I grew up in High River and am a part of the graduating class of 2024. I have two brothers who love to help out on our family farm. My parents are both beekeepers and have taught me that being bright is no substitute for hard work.

I have worked as a piano teacher since 2020 teaching ages 5-10 piano and I also have experience working as a figure skating coach teaching ages 3-11 how to skate. I've been a babysitter for lots of my family and cousins, regularly staying overnight and watching young children for long periods of time. I am very passionate about working with children. I believe that they are very curious and adventurous and those characteristics need to be nurtured. I love learning and I want to also share my passion for learning with those around me.
