I'm Jacoba, a 25 year old woman who lives in Hamilton. I have a lot of experience working with children - I grew up as the oldest of six children, and have planned and facilitated many children's programs, including an outdoor forest school for kids age 4-13. I love to garden and spend time out of doors, am creative and outgoing, and am great at engaging children. I have teaching experience, so would be happy to help with homework or homeschooling. If I watch your children, you can be sure we'll go on plenty of adventures, do crafts and activities, and use our imaginations to their fullest capacity! Growing up in a big family, I feel very comfortable working with multiple children. I'm happy to do housework and cooking, or whatever else you might need.

I have a degree in Peace and Conflict Transformation Studies at the Canadian Mennonite University in Manitoba. In this degree, I learned a lot about community development, conflict management, and storytelling. Through my degree, I had the opportunity to learn a lot about restorative justice and ways of handling with conflict in a relational way.
