• Monitors, advises, and supports regular basic daily activities of the clients. • Maintains a safe presence in the home daily. • Provides support with the activities of daily living. • Assists clients in carrying out personal hygiene tasks such as daily washing, shampooing, shaving, and oral • hygiene. • Provides toileting care including bowel and bladder procedures. • Performs lifts and transferring of clients and mobility assistance. • Prepares meals and assists with feeding as required. • Offers options and suggestions regarding daily living to enable clients to make informed decisions. • Provides other support services, within appropriate boundaries and training as assigned. • Housekeeping Services: Assists with and provides light housekeeping and homemaking services as required. Maintains client equipment such as cleaning of wheelchairs, commodes, and lifts • Does laundry include washing, drying, folding, ironing and putting laundry away. • Carries out light housekeeping such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning showers, sinks and toilets. • Administration: Follows documentation, charting and record protocols as specified. Collects and reports relevant client observations to supervisor or caregiver as required. Records services provided. completes incident/accident reports accurately and submits within stipulated time frames.
