Hello. My name is Jen, I have completed my BA in Geography at Brock University in the Fall of 2019. My plan was to teach english in Thailand this summer, but unfortunately that has been rescheduled(sometime in 2022) due to the Coronavirus. My family lives in Edmonton, Alberta while I live in Georgetown, Ontario. I grew up in Georgetown and know the area well. I do have my own source of transportation and I am willing to commute outside of Georgetown. I love working with children and truly enjoy taking care of children, getting to know the family I am working for and building a strong relationship is very important to me. I have excellent relationships with the families I have previously worked with. I am excited to begin a new journey with a new family hopefully soon.

I have taken care of multiple families over the last 6 years. I still have excellent relationship with those families and continue to visit them in my spare time. Some of the things I enjoy doing while taking care of children are playing games/cards, making crafts, dance parties(I like playing Disney music, but enjoy all music), going to the park and playing sports. Growing up I played all kinds of sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer and softball. With one of the families I took care of I volunteered to be there soccer coach for the summer, I had so much fun and would consider doing it again for another family. Pets are no problem, I love all animals. I enjoy swimming in the summer and ice skating in the winter.
