I’m an 18 year-old undergrad student who will be an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces upon graduation. My hobbies include music, cooking, reading, writing, language learning, gaming, sports and more! My diverse range of hobbies and interests is definitely an asset for childcare, as I gained experience in high school tutoring children in musical instruments, sports, writing, and languages such as Spanish and Ukrainian. Not only does my experience working with children include babysitting/childcare, it also includes working with them in a school setting! As mentioned above I have tutoring experience, but I also have experience creating fun environments, experiences, and other engaging activities. I was the President of my high schools Student Council and a huge part of my duties included engagement with primary-elementary students. Along with my experience with school-aged children, I have experience with daycare-aged children and younger. I’m able to care for children of all ages! One interesting fact about me is that I have a 9 year-old sister and two nieces aged 18 months and 9 months, which definitely adds-on to my experience! I completed the Red-Cross Babysitting course at age 14 and have had multiple childcare/babysitting/nanny jobs since then.

Currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree at Dalhousie University.
