I have 3 years working with kids in different capacities. I have spent 2 of my summers volunteering at Gardom lake Bible camp as a cabin leader and lifeguard, caring for kids from ages 6-16 and this past year worked there from April- sept as the female staff coordinator, where I dealt with camper needs, from sick kids to missing home to behavioural issues. I also spent a school year working as a child care worker in a liscenced after school care program in enderby BC, I worked with kids there from kindergarten to grade 6. I have experience with behavioural issues as well as with kids with all different backgrounds and needs. I am also very creative and have experience with art, and teaching art lessons through a local homeschool group. I am very easy going and have a laid back personality, I am very empathetic and love to have fun with kids, while setting appropriate boundaries and not being a push over. I find working with kids and watching them grow very rewarding and I would love to invest into a family that is the right fit for me.
