My name is Bailey. I'm 27 years old and I have a passion for providing care and support to others. My boyfriend and I moved to Fredericton in May of this year, to be closer to our family and plan to be here long term. I have no children of my own, just an adorable house on the north side and an ever growing number of plants! I graduated with my CYCW degree in June of last year and am completing my 90 hour NB Early Childhood Curriculum Course online, to (potentially) continue into the online Micro-credentials ECE program in January 2024. I have loved working with Early Learning Centers over the last few years and have found great fulfillment in Childcare as a whole but I know the struggle that modern families have with finding childcare and that's where I'm here to help. I'm currently looking to find a more individual centered model of care, such as nannying, small group care or family/home support work. Not everyone benefits from the standard model of childcare (hours, class sizes, curriculum etc) and I can say with honesty that I'm interested in something different myself. I believe the best model of care is a dynamic one that is individual to each childs/families needs. My skills and experience have given me great tools and education but at the end of the day it's the families that really know what is going to work best for them. I have been working in different sectors of the Childcare Feild since 2017. I have a Degree in Child and Youth Care from Holland College and am currently enrolled in the 90 hour NB curriculum course, with a seat in the January ECE Mirco credentials course. A condensed list of previous experience include; Infant care (18-24 months), Preschool (2-5yrs), After-School (6-12yrs), Provincial Group homes (12-17 yrs) as well as Disability support (6yrs-adult).
