I am Tasha and I have always loved being around children. I am exceptionally good at swimming and I played competitive basketball for 13+ seasons. I have also participated in a number of other sports/activities including but not limited to softball, dance, gymnastics, skiing, snowboarding, track and field, guitar, and violin. Fluent in French. I attended French immersion from Kindergarten to Grade 9 at which point I attended Strathcona Senior High School where I took the advanced Francophone program they offered as well as Spanish and Art. I excelled in Art and continue to paint and draw today, my paintings have been feature in art shows and galleries. I have first aid and have taken several courses to teach me more than just the basics. I am on my way to becoming a life guard. I feel that all children should have the opportunity to be exposed to many different activities such as sports, music, dance and art outside of regular education. Therefore I would gladly not only watch over your child(ren) but join in to help play, teach, and learn right alongside them all the wonders this world has to offer us.

My first nanny position was with two wonderful kids (ages 2 and 6). Since then I have nanny shared with two families (four children, ages 1, 2, 3, 4) and spent my summer having a blast taking care of two kiddos ages 2 and 4. I have been babysitting for the last 6 years. I have valid first aid training and have taken several other courses that go beyond just the basics of first aid. I have volunteered as a teachers assistant in Elementary Schools and can handle several children at once. I am extremely patient and understand that children will not always be little angels. I am very good at communicating with children and quickly gain their trust and respect. I have several younger cousins ranging from newborns-9 year olds and I have babysat them all on numerous occasions. I strive to be someone who children can look up to and remember in years to come, I want to be the best influence I can and help every child I meet to be the absolute best that they can be. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I am a very active person, I love being outdoors, arts and crafts, reading and I am great at playing pretend.
