I have had more than 12 years of experience in caring for children. In my previous roles as an au pair, live-in and live-out nanny, I gained a lot of experience and confidence taking care of children of all ages, and helping them grow in a fun, nurturing and safe environment. Working in this field can be challenging sometimes but it is very rewarding, and over the years, I have developed the needed skills to be an excellent caregiver. I have more than 12 years of experience in caring for children. While I was still in Brazil I took care of my nephews and other young family members. I also worked as an infant English teacher, and helped in the kids' ministry in my church. In 2013 I traveled to the US as an au pair and worked for 2 years taking care of kids from 2 different families. I also did extra jobs as a babysitter and nanny for 6 months and gained a lot of experience with children ranging from newborns to 15 years old. Later on I moved to Canada, where I have worked as a live-in and live-out nanny for the past 5 years. In my previous roles I did activities according to the age and lifestyle of the kids I took care of. That included cooking, feeding, changing diapers, bathing, putting them down for naps or to sleep, playing, helping with homework, driving to activities, etc. My responsibility was always to ensure the children were safe, happy and growing in a healthy environment.
