Hello, my name is Kerri. I have my two year Child and Youth Care diploma, and graduated in 2005. I have over 10 years working in my field with children and families. I have worked in day cares, for the Edmonton Public School Board, in group homes with young adults, and for non-profits. I believe that young children learn best threw play. They are able to learn their ABC's, colors, shapes and sounds while playing with adults. Fine and gross motor skills are especially important to learn via play. Working with ABC Headstart, our classrooms taught our students threw play and for most families, they saw huge growth in their child at the end of the year. I work full time in a clothing store and am looking for part time work. I enjoy cleaning and cooking. Late nights and over nights are fine, just with notice. I am hoping for an hourly rate of $15. 00. I am available to start as soon as possible. Thank you for your time.

I have my two year Child and Youth Care diploma threw Grant McEwan. I graduated in 2005, and have worked with a wide range of ages. I have work in group homes with young adults, Edmonton Public Schools, Day Cares, and non-profits such as ABC Head Start. While working with ABC Head Start, we worked in a class room setting of 18 students ages of 3-5. I have experience working with children who have ADHD, ADD, Autism, and other learning disorders. Working threw play to help our students learn their fine and gross motor skills, as well as growing their language skills were very successful. Other responsibilities were to help plan crafts, growth plans, and daily snacks. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I enjoy traveling and having fun. Life is too short. I feel that as a child, family and individual it is important to experience all that you can in life.

I have my two year Child and Youth Care diploma. I have taken my CPR and First Aid Training but do not have a current certificate. I have taken many courses on family violence, learning threw play, and counseling courses while working with ABC Head Start.
