Over 32 years I have cared for newborns to 9 years old. I like long term jobs, I am willing to stay with the right family for 3 or 4 years. I can prepare baby foods and bottles and nutritious foods for older children. I have taken children swimming, on field trips to the zoo and nature walks. I have even helped children learn to swim, ride a bike, read and write and tell time. I have toilet trained many children. I have many craft ideas and games.

I completed most of the Early Childhood Development Course at Grant MacEwan 35 years ago, but found the practical work was all in daycare and I preferred to work with just a couple of children so I can give them lots of individual love and attention. Then I can listen to and help them communicate their needs better.
