My name is Brooks I am 25 years old. I have lived in Edmonton for 6 years. I moved to Edmonton to go to college. I took my diploma in Medical Assistant and graduated in 2014. I have my CPR as well as my first aid. I grew up in a home where my parents were foster parents. I have always loved kids and being around kids. I always helped my parents take care of the foster kids that came in and out of the home. There was always children ages 1 month to 16 years old. I was involved with helping to share with the agency all information about the child's progress or difficulties in his/her daily living, health or adjustment to the home, school or community, to have a plan acceptable to the agency for the provision of care and supervision of the child by a competent person when my parents were absent from the home, and I would always support the foster child's participation in school activities, leisure time activities, community activities and their own interests they had. I currently volunteer at an animal rescue agency in Edmonton and I am fostering a dog. I do things such as take the dog to adoption event and bring awareness about adopting animals. I have been volunteering with animals for 3 years and have always had a soft spot for animals. In the past, I have volunteered with hope mission to help homeless people find their right way in life and to make them feel secure that they are not alone. I have a big heart and am very passionate in what I am involved in. I look foreword to hearing from you soon.
