Hello, I’m Brian, a childcare devotee with a wealth of experience working with children of all ages. For over 10 years, I was privileged enough to work back home with children, providing nurturing care, fun, and mentoring. Not just typically watching over them, but genuinely engaging in their world - from playground video games to mealtime chat.
Based in Edmonton, I am an extremely flexible nanny who can be there for your family day and night, from Monday to Friday. I am more than comfortable working with children with disabilities and am willing to live in or live out, depending on your preference. I am looking for a full-time position where I can utilise my love for children to create a safe, nurturing environment that caters to their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
I have been trained in CPR and First Aid, which, along with a High School education, provides an incredible reassurance for you as parents. I am equipped and enthusiastic about performing various duties around the house from cooking, light housekeeping, helping with homework, to running errands. Alongside basic care, I can also take on tasks like ironing children’s clothes, bathing and dressing the children, and even dog walking or pet care if required. This includes ensuring adherence to dietary rules, keeping the kitchen tidy, supervising other staff, planning events, and general housekeeping.
I'm comfortable working with three children maximum at a time, and have experience with children aged 3-5 years, 6-9 years, and over 10 years. Whether Nanny, Babysitter, Housekeeper, Tutor, or providing special needs assistance, I can mould myself into any role that fits best with your family.
I'm excited to begin a new chapter as part of a new family, bringing my competence, love for children, and dedication to duty. Please note, my desired start date is March 18, 2024. I look forward to becoming a valuable addition to your family dynamic.
I worked in mama day care, and I was responsible for driving kids too and from school and also taking them to the play ground.
