Tracy L.
I am an Anglophone who grew up in west end Montreal. I can speak and understand basic French. I lived in Alberta for many years but moved back to Montreal 9 years ago. I worked for over 10 years giving back to others as a volunteer and then as a registered social worker within a helping agency. I was honoured to help families and children in their time of greatest need. My last responsibility there was as a Youth & Family support worker. I ran six after school programs spending one-on-one time with approximately 45 children every week. After returning to Montreal I decided to pursue working as a Nanny. I recently left a family after 8 years of loving service and dedication. The first child was 10 months when I started with them and then I cared for his sister as well from birth. They are now both in school full-time and the family has grandparent involvement, so I was no longer needed. Working with children and families is a great fit for me as I am a warm, energetic person who very much ensures that children get my full attention, that they are stimulated to play and learn, and that they receive my loving care and protection. I excel at multi-tasking and care greatly for the well-being of the whole family. I have two grown sons myself. They live and work in western Canada. I am proud of how I raised and nurtured them, always making sure quality time together was a priority. I like to spend my spare time drawing, running, hiking, and making sure to connect regularly with my friends and family. I try very hard to take good care of myself with healthy eating, sleeping, and exercise. I am a non smoker and non drinker. I am also an animal lover, so I’d be happy caring for the family pets as well. References available upon request.
A full-time Nanny for over 8 years now. I am a mother of two grown men so I’ve had first-hand experience with kids at every age. Even before becoming a parent I babysat regularly in my teen years. I often had families recommend me to their friends and family. I was proud that the kids asked for me to come back. I always make time to play with kids, teach them, as well as care for their basic needs.
