My name is Sherry. I am a retired elementary school teacher living in Cochrane with my husband of 35 years. We have raised 2 children in Cochrane, one with special needs. This past year I worked with an active family with 4 children and the previous four years I taught children with developmental delays in a homeschool setting. I went to MRU, pre Covid, where I received my TESOL Certificate- I am qualified to assist children who may need English support. Being an educator, I try to use every opportunity I can for growth and learning. Also, I'm an active person who feels that the outdoors is an ideal classroom. I develop a connection with children quite easily- I LOVE children, and understand them, and they seem to sense that.
