I'm a student at UPEI, from the Eastern Townships, Quebec. I grew up overseas and have experience connecting with children and people from all walks of life. I'm studying Biology and enjoy the outdoors, arts and crafts, dancing, and reading (especially anything fantasy or dragon-related)! I am responsible, capable, patient, and have a genuine love for children. My continuing experience as a Residence Life Advisor with UPEI Residence Services has honed my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills and equipped me to handle medical, conduct, safety, and mental health situations. By providing activity and care, I offer support with schoolwork, household chores, reinforcement of rules, emotional comfort in times of distress, and the alertness required in emergencies.

I've babysitted on and off for the past 9 years, caring for up to three children at once. I have been responsible for the care and supervision of children aged 2 to 10. I enjoy playing games with kids and doing arts and crafts activities, I also help older children with schoolwork if needed. In previous jobs when babysitting in the evening, I helped give the kids dinner and would either play a couple of low-intensity games, bring out craft supplies, or help with homework before bedtime. I would then get them through their bedtime routine and read a story or whatever was needed to get them settled. Once leaving the kids to settle down and sleep I'd do any cleaning around the house if needed from dinner or activities.
