Wilfrid Laurier Youth & Children Studies graduate. I’m looking to connect with a great family in order to gain experience yet still remain Covid cautious and remain within a small circle before fully entering the work force with my degree. I’ve recently graduated from my Honors Youth and Children Studies Degree. During my time at Laurier through certain courses I’ve done numerous placements in both schools and youth centers. Through Laurier I was also President of the Best Buddies club the past two years where I’ve gained activity planning experience. In summer 2019 I worked as a recreational coordinator at Glenhyrst’s Art Summer camp where I managed running activities with ages 4-13 and groups ranging from 10-45 children. Throughout my entire undergrad I’ve also worked with Ford Motor Company through their student job program that has allowed me to gain many useful skills that are still applicable in this completely different line of work. Given all this experience, I’d love to discuss why and how I could make a good addition to your family.
