I am a PSW graduate at Conestoga College and currently looking for a part time job as babysitter. I breathe life into the experience and training I possess as a registered nurse in my native country, the Philippines. The extensive scope of my nursing proficiency spans across a wide spectrum, with a noteworthy specialty in providing care to pediatric patients. I am comfortable with handling and taking care of infants and young children, which derives from a blend of professional and personal experience. From a professional side, I honed my skills while working in Qatar for an entire year as a teacher's assistant. This position afforded me a deep appreciation for the energetic nature of children, whilst teaching me the vital importance of patience, creativity, and engagement. Additionally, my experience with child care is deep-seated and deeply personal. Notably, during my time in the Philippines, I was not only a registered nurse but also a dedicated mother to my three children. Developing and implementing tailored care routines, ensuring their health, and attending to their emotional needs, while juggling my professional responsibilities, refined my multitasking and caregiving skills. Of my various skills and hobbies, I particularly enjoy cooking - a pastime that I believe is an expression of love. I am passionate about nutrition and wellness, so whenever time would allow back in my home country, I would take considerable pleasure in preparing well-balanced, healthy meals for my children. I believe in the core principle of 'you are what you eat' and I enjoy seeing this practice come to fruition within my own family. Overall, I am highly geared towards the welfare of children and others. I have a genuine love for nurturing, caring for, and playing with children which is a testimony of my extensive experience both professionally and personally.

I worked as a pediatric nurse in my home country, the Philippines and in Qatar. My scope of work was giving bath and feeding a newborn. Additionally, I also have Canadian nanny experience for almost 10 months (well-baby and with special medical needs).
