My name is Kait, and I have been working as a nanny on and off for the past 5 years, but have been babysitting since I was 15 years old. I am very passionate about childcare and absolutely love children of all ages, however I feel I really shine with infants, and small children (under 2) as well as school-aged kids. A bit more about me, I am currently an online university student working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design just entering my fourth year, as well as being currently enrolled in ground school and soon to be starting in-flight training to get my private pilots license. In my spare time, I enjoy getting active such as running, yoga, biking, and weightlifting, as well as reading, baking, and enjoying nature! I am a very organized and independent person who loves children of all ages. My favourite part about being a childcare provider is getting to watch the children grow into the unique individuals they are during my time with them. I look forward to starting my own family in the future, and greatly value my time being a nanny. I am fully vaccinated and willing to adhere to any health, lifestyle, and safety wishes from the family such as masking, vegan/vegetarian practices for children, and alternative methods of parenting (albeit I would request some instruction from parents here on how to best approach). I previously completed the Red Cross Babysitting courses when I was a teenager however I have not kept my certifications up to date. I still feel very knowledgeable and capable of using these skills, but I would be happy to get re-certified at the cost of the employer if this is necessary. I have a valid driver's license and a vehicle for transportation. My schedule is currently quite flexible due to my online schooling, however, I will be going away for 1-2 months in the late spring (exact dates not yet known), and will also be starting a design-based internship in the following summer which may impact my long-term hours.
