My name is Megan and I have a Bachelor of Education with a focus in early childhood education from the University of Calgary. I am a grade 1 teacher in my second year of teaching! I am responsible, hard-working, flexible, resourceful and caring. I have always had a passion for working with kids and helping them grow. Having 2 younger sisters, and with my mom doing childcare while I was young, it allowed me to have a lot experience early on . I have been babysitting since I was 11 years old, as well as volunteering in my Church nursery, and being a nanny/homeschool teacher. I care so much about the families I look after. It is important for me to become close with each family, and love the little ones as if they were my own. I have taken care of kids of all ages, from newborns to teens and am looking for casual babysitting jobs during the school year and part time/full time nannying in July and August.

I have babysat for the past 11 years, as well as working in various volunteer programs such as the nursery at my local church. In high school, I also had the opportunity to compete work experience in a kindergarten class for five months. I supported the kids, and was allowed to teach certain lessons and lead games and music. I have also worked as a full time nanny. I am currently a 2nd year teacher, teaching a grade 1 classroom and a tutor!
