Hello. My name is Arissa, 23 years of age and a university student. I am Filipino-Canadian. I came to Canada at the age of 15 with my family. I love to read, volunteer, and try out different restaurants. I also love working with kids. After university, I plan to pursue a career in childcare either as an elementary teacher or daycare worker. In the past, I have volunteered at my church for the Kids program every Sunday. I also have done the "Reading Buddy" program with Calgary Public Library. I have done CPR classes and I am willing to obtain a police check if needed. I have worked with kids at my local church and with the Calgary Public Library kids program. I also babysit my little brother who is 8 years old now whenever my parents are working. In addition, I used to babysit our family friend's son who was 2 years old at the time.
