Hello, I have just completed a Diploma in Human and Community Support Services. I have lived in Calgary as an international student for the last 3 years, with my husband and two children ages 17 daughter and 14 son respectively. My work allowance is based on my study permit, which is 20 hrs weekly. I am seeking full time employment under an LMIA. I have experience with taking care of children and cooking healthy meals. I also have a background in hospitality and housekeeping. My objective is to passionately help people of all walks and to motivate them to have the confidence to know that all things are possible. I love reading to children in expression and drama, making sure that the moral of the story is appreciated. As well as singing and writing songs and poetry. I am easy going and maintain a balanced tone in my daily life. I love people but am not naive to this world. I am always on the can do team, but also now very well to be silent and just be a willing and loving pair of ears.

I have equally given children the respect as human being. I love them and gave attention to the best of my ability. Children are our gifts. How we treat them has a lifetime affect on them. I have the patience, tone and attention required to watch over children. I am punctual with their meals, bathing and bedtimes routines. Playtime is important for holistic growth, so it’s a must for me. I am a child at heart. Challenges will always come, but rising to the occasion has proven to be the best remedy. Overall I don’t see children as a task but a joy.

I started ECE in my country Trinidad but the school went into bankruptcy. I have several years of baby sitting, from cleaning, cooking, feeding, playing, grooming, singing, reading, problem solving, defending and loving children and keeping them healthy and safe for their parents. I have all intentions of becoming CPR certified, it’s just that I only just completed my Diploma and plan on doing these courses next. ,
