My name is Carrie and I am a 28 year Canadian born female. I am currently a student at the University of Calgary going into my final year to become a teacher. I live in the SW of Calgary with my boyfriend. I enjoy reading, crafts, hiking, camping and many other activities. I own my own car and and although I do not currently have any pets I adore animals. I enjoy cooking and like a healthy lifestyle. I have tutored many children and have interest in helping children through their homework along with keeping them company during the summer outdoors or inside.

I have worked as an Assistant Director at a before and after school care program for 2 years and have have worked 2 summers in child care for children 5 and under. I have done 4 practicums in schools and daycares working with children from 1 to 16 years old. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I have worked as a communication and marketing assistant at the University of Calgary. I am willing to assist with communication matters (emails, scheduling, etc. ).

I have a bachelor degree from UofC in Communication and Culture and an Early Learning Child Care diploma from MRU. I am eager to work with students to help them learn and have fun doing so.
