Hello. My name is Angus , and I am a 26 year old Masters student, currently studying education research at the University of Calgary. I have a real passion for education and especially instilling the importance of education in young people. I am a fun-loving, responsible, and organized individual who has been working with children for most of my life, through volunteering, coaching, and teaching. I am currently working in the education department of the Calgary Stampede, where I teach programs to learners of all ages about the importance of sustainability in our every day world. I am currently working at the Calgary Stampede in their Youth Education department. In my role as an education facilitator, I am responsible for running full-day education programming for school groups and community organizations, designing, implementing, and operating our programming at the Calgary Stampede. All of the programming we run is learner- focused, and puts exploration and curiosity first.

I am currently completing my Masters degree in educational research at the University of Calgary. I am working in the curriculum and learning department, where I am writing a thesis about the importance of wonder and curiosity in the everyday lives of children. I am incredibly passionate about providing fun, wonder-filled experiences for young people to learn more about the world that they live in.
