My name is Alex and I am a creative and outgoing international Au-Pair/nanny. My expansive resumé includes previously facilitating art experiences as an art director for children, families and adults. In addition I worked in Germany for a year as an Au Pair for two wonderful little girls. For the past 4 years I have been a part time nanny to triplets working with them in the mornings to get them ready and take them to the bus in the mornings. I think it is very important to have a connection with the children so that we may build a bond that includes personal growth for everyone. I worked as a family's Au-Pair in Berlin, Germany for a year. Within that year I was responsible for their two daughters during the week while their mother was away working in a different city. My duties included preparing the girls for school, making them breakfast and lunch. Picking them up from school and accompanying them to their dance, cello and choir lessons. I also faciliated art activities and took them out for fun excursions like taking them to the pool or meeting their friends. I also helped them with their homework and taught them English. I would be responsible for light house work like doing laundry for the family (6 people including myself) would occasionally prepare dinner for the family and cleaning the dishes and taking care of the cat. The mother had a very confidential place of employment which meant that keeping their life very private was a top priority.
