I am available for the occasional day or night when you are out on a date or attending an event, or for a longer regular stretch. In my younger years, I was a popular babysitter in my neighbourhood and beyond. I also worked part-time with Calgary Home Support Services with families in crisis and other situations where they required additional support. I am finally semi-retired from the corporate world! I'm keeping busy with a flexible schedule doing things that bring me joy, such as more time for the outdoors, cooking, international travel, music, the arts, graphic design, freelance copy editing and copy writing, and any new interests that come my way. I am in excellent health, active and enjoy learning. I look forward to connecting with families and their young ones!

I have always enjoyed children and babysitting, and engaged the children with games, crafts or reading. In my teens and twenties I was the busy babysitter in the neighbourhood and am still in contact with a few that now have families of their own! I was a girls club leader and mentor for several years, ages 5 through 15 yrs. I also have several years of experience working part-time with families in crisis and underprivileged through Calgary Home Support Services. I have recently taken the Little Lungs first aid course through Red Cross as a brush up. I have a clean driving record and a reliable SUV.
