As the eldest of 5, I have always been surrounded by children. Growing up, babysitting was a huge part of my life - I cared for many families throughout high school and as of 2017 - present I have been working at a summer day camp. I began my journey at Planet Kids as a counselor, became a program director, and eventually moved onto assistant site director this summer. Watching children grow and learn has always been something I enjoyed doing and got extreme fulfillment from. Each and every child has their own unique way of thinking and expressing themselves and it never ceases to amaze me. Having just completed my 4-year undergrad at the University of Western Ontario, attending teachers college is my next step. Working with children is what I love most and being able to work with children full-time is an idea that excites me.
