My name is Geraldine but, you can call me Gigi for short. I am married with four girls ages, 28, 27, 26, and 25. I have been in Canada for 22 years now. I worked in Hong Kong as a domestic helper for 15 months before coming here in Canada. I loved being around kids specially babies. Taking care of small kids is a fulfilling job for me as I enjoyed the process of caring and supporting their growth and developmental foundations. I strongly believed that having a loving, caring, respectable caregiver contributes to how our children grow. Having four children of my own, I am aware of the impact positive interactions, love and care have on the development of young children. In addition to my extensive experience as a nanny, I also completed a certificate for PSW, which I acquired here in Canada. Along with, I was also a registered nurse the Philippines before I became a domestic helper in Hong Kong. I am a multitasking, very patient, hardworking and sensible person. I am looking for a full-time job that is within Burlington and is close to where I live. I unfortunately do not have drivers license or have a car so I am looking for a job that I can take public transportation or bike to.

I have lots of child care experienced as having four kids of my own:) and also my job in Hongkong primarily to take care of a newborn baby. My employer was 7mos. pregnant when I started to work with her so I was able to take care of her while she was pregnant. When I came here in Canada I have to take care of my seven cousins ages, 6-13 yrs. before I found my employer whom I worked as live-in nanny for them for almost six years. I started to worked for them when their son just 7 mos. old and now I am presently working for one family with 2 kids ages 2.5 year old and 6 year old.
