I am 27 years old and I live in Grimsby with my soon-to-be wife and our dog and cat! I am super creative, active, love the outdoors, and am a big animal lover. One of my favourite things is coming up with new ways to make learning fun for young children and watching them grow. On a more personal note, my fiancée and I are currently undergoing fertility treatment as well as getting married in May out west and will be gone for a week so time off will be needed for this as well as the fertility appointments. I have recently updated my First Aid/CPR and have a Vulnerable Sector Check that is about 2 years old but I am willing to obtain a new one if necessary.

I am a Registered ECE and have also obtained my Child and Youth Care diploma as well. During the pandemic, I worked full-time as a nanny for 2 years for a wonderful family with 2 young girls. After graduating from the ECE program, I began working for the YMCA Burlington in a preschool classroom. I have also worked as a dance teacher to children of all ages for 7 years. During this time, I have realized how much I truly adore and miss working directly with families and their children in the home environment as opposed to working in a childcare centre.
