My name is Elliot and I go by They/Them pronouns! I am 31 years old and I have 8 years of professional experience in childcare, but I've always had a passion for taking care of and educating children. I am nerdy and fun loving, I enjoy movies and spending time with family. I have a 7 year old daughter, 5 year old twins, and a dog! I love to have fun in everything I do and have a great love for engaging children in activities that will help grow their minds and their creativity. I love engaging children with art, STEM activities, and age-appropriate play/ learning. I enjoy cooking, on my own and also in tandem with children of appropriate age (with parent consent), and am completely up for aiding with chores or light tasks around the home, as well as running errands, as needed as long as it doesn't distract from the care of children in my care. I lead by listening and understanding a children's needs first with patience and kindness in everything. I'm used to large groups of children and planning daily, age appropriate activities, as well as keeping track of and up with daily tasks, including updates for parents and providing pictures of fun activities and progress throughout the day, having worked with all ages. I'm currently pursuing the Home Child Care Pilot that will allow me a 5 year work period to gain permanent residency here in Canada and would require a job offer before submitting Visa paperwork. This is only a 25 day process that I will take care of in a timely manner upon being presented a Job Offer. I hope to speak with you soon!

I've been a teacher to kids from ages 0-12, varying from 5 children to 22 children at a time. I'm comfortable in settings with large groups I handled all curriculum, organization, and schedule of a classroom on my own, daily and ensured children were safe and engaged all hours of the day. I am comfortable and familiar with working with children of more extensive needs, like ADHD and Autism, or more patient and gentle care.
