I am a mother with children of my own and enjoy working and caring for children. I am an Educational Assistant in a school, but previously worked in a group home with adolescents and at a respite camp for special needs youth. I believe that keeping children safe and comfortable is of most importance. I am a caring, reliable and trustworthy individual. I have over 10 years experience working with children from infancy to adolescence and I am capable in changing diapers, bathing, feeding, helping with homework, planning activities and doing daily hygiene routines. I have my CPR and First Aid certificate, as well as Crisis Prevention and Intervention training.

I currently work in a school, in a special needs classroom as an Educational Assistant. I help teach various age appropriate skills and provide physical care to 5 children. This care includes dressing, toileting, feeding, and making sure kids are safe. I have also worked as a Personal Support Worker for medically fragile youth, where I provided meals, assisted them in daily hygiene routines, fed them and did activities with them. Previous to this, I worked in a group home with 6 adolescent youth and drove them to appointments, went on outings with them, and prepared meals. I have also cared for babies and toddlers as well.

I have my Child and a youth Worker Diploma and Bachelors in Sociology. Also have training certificate for Crisis Prevention and Intervention
