My name is Natalee and I have been a caregiver for the last 10 years. I am originally from Jamaica, where I studied practical nursing, and moved to Canada where I became a living caregiver. I grew up with my grandparents back home, and that is where I grew love for taking care of elderly people. I have done personal care, provided companionship, cooked meals, clean, worked as both live in and live out caregiver. I have a lot of experience dealing with mental health, Alzheimer’s, Dememtia, and stroke patient that has aphasia and are not mobile. I’ve been doing this for years and I’m very passionate about this. My goal is to one day own my own care home so I can give the elderly a home that they can be happy, and healthy. I love taking them for walks, activities around town, setting up activities around the home, watching movies, and just about anything that will make them feel like their old self. I have references that proves my experience and I know for a fact if you hire me you would not be disappointed. I have babysat my younger siblings, family members kids and my friends kids. I had to make sure they had their bath, had eaten and I would sometimes get them from school and did their homework. I have also helped care for my cousin God daughter that has special needs.

I studied Practical Nursing in Jamaica and some of the courses includes Paediatric and Geriatric Nursing, First Aid and Pharmacology. I have a Personal Care certificate that I obtained once I got here along with a Medication Module certificate which allows me to administer medication.
