My informal experience, let's put it this way, comes from the nanny time I provided to my parents taking care of my young sister for over 10 years. My first job experience was as a teacher assistant in a bilingual Canadian school in Brazil. Even though it is not specifically a nanny job, it provided me with experience with 1-2 years old children. I was responsible for a range of duties, including assisting children with meals, preparing their backpacks for home, brushing their teeth, changing diapers, and giving baths when necessary. I also provided recreational activities, including games, songs, and other playful learning opportunities. This job also gave me the opportunity to work with children with autism which later made me more capable to deal with my young sister who was diagnosed with autism and ADHD. My sister was my informal experience as a nanny while she was growing up until she was 11 years old. I used to stay at home with her from mine 16 to mine 27 years old until I got married. I am passionate about working with children and providing them with a safe, nurturing, and fun environment in which to grow and learn. I am patient, caring, and attentive, and I am committed to creating a positive and supportive atmosphere for the children in my care.
